BATTERY INFORMATION:
**ALWAYS WHERE PROTECTIVE GLOVES & GOGGLES WHEN HANDLING BATTERIES**
  • STORAGE
    1. Avoid locations with freezing temperatures or high heat sources.
    2. Completely charge the Golf Car before storing & Charge Monthly During the Winter Months!!!!!!
    3. Make sure water levels are above the filament paper/plates.
    4. During storage, monitor the voltage by re-charging the Golf Car about once a month.
    5. Completely charge the Golf Car & check water levels before use.
  • BATTERY MAINTENANCE
    1. WATERING
      1. Open vent caps & look inside the fill wells.
      2. Check the water level; level should be just over the top of the filament paper/plates.
      3. If necessary add distilled water to the battery until the filament paper/plates are covered. *DO NOT OVERFILL TO THE CAP*
      4. Never add acid to a battery.
      5. We recommend you check your batteries once a month, especially during the hot summer months.
    2. CLEANING
      1. Clean battery terminals with battery cleaner spray (a solution of baking soda & water can work as well).
      2. Also we recommend spraying the terminals with battery protectant spray to help prevent corrosion.
    3. EXTRA MAINTENANCE
      1. Check battery cables to make sure they are not loose.
